This leadership role ensures a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.What You'll DoSupervise and coordinate maintenance staff engaged in building and grounds upkeepDirect team members performing painting, structural repairs, and maintenance of masonry, woodwork, and furnishingsOversee maintenance and repair of building utility systems, including electrical wiring and controls, HVAC systems, and plumbingEnsure proper implementation of lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety protocolsInspect work to ensure repairs and maintenance meet required standardsCommunicate maintenance needs, timelines, and concerns with leadership and other departmentsEnsure compliance with state, federal, ASI, OSHA, and HIPAA regulationsMaintain a safe, organized work environment and ensure proper use of tools and equipmentCollaborate with vendors and contractors as needed to support facility operationsPhysical DemandsStand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and change positions frequentlyLift up to 50 lbs. and push or pull equipment as neededWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsSafety RequirementsAdhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and facility safety policies at all timesEnsure proper labeling, storage, and handling of chemicals and equipmentUtilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure team complianceReport work-related injuries within 12 hours and complete required documentationParticipate in company drug testing proceduresWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a Skilled Nursing environment and requires frequent interaction with residents, families, staff, vendors, and leadership.
