In-Home Caregiver – St. Paul Area | Flexible & Set Shifts

Pay: $18–$21/hour based on experience + $3/hour Weekend Differential
Location: St. Paul & Surrounding Communities
Multiple Shifts Available | Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities

Comfort Keepers is looking for compassionate and dependable In-Home Caregivers to provide personalized support to seniors and adults in the St. Paul area.

Whether you're new to caregiving or looking to build on your healthcare experience, you'll receive training and ongoing support while gaining valuable skills that can help you grow in the field.

Current Scheduling Needs

We're currently looking for caregivers who can cover one or more of these shifts:

• Tuesday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM

• Thursday: 8:00 PM–8:00 AM

• Friday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM

• Every Other Saturday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM

Multiple shifts are available , and additional flexible shifts may be available for caregivers interested in picking up more hours.

What You'll Do

As an In-Home Caregiver, you'll provide non-medical assistance designed to help clients remain comfortable, safe, engaged, and independent in their homes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with personal care

• Preparing meals

• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Providing medication reminders

• Assisting with mobility and transfers

• Performing light housekeeping

• Providing transportation and assistance with errands

• Supporting clients with daily routines and activities

Qualifications

Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is helpful but not required. Training is provided for qualified candidates.

We're looking for someone who is:

• At least 18 years old

• Compassionate, dependable, and responsible

• Comfortable working independently in a client's home

• Willing to learn and grow

• Able to communicate effectively

• Equipped with a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, DSS, or other healthcare professional is a plus.

Education & Career Advancement

Caregiving provides valuable hands-on experience for anyone interested in pursuing a future career as a CNA, LPN, RN, social worker, or other healthcare professional .

Eligible direct-care employees may also have access to scholarship support through the Minnesota Department of Health HCBS Employee Scholarship Program .

Qualified team members may receive assistance with approved educational expenses while pursuing CNA, LPN, or RN training , supporting career advancement in home and community-based care.

To be eligible, employees must work in a direct-care role for an average of at least 10 hours per week and meet program requirements. Scholarship funding is limited and awarded based on eligibility, available funds, and approved educational expenses.
