Financial Crime Analyst

Angove Partners with an innovative digital trust and identity verification technology provider delivering secure onboarding, KYC, and fraud prevention solutions to financial institutions, fintechs, crypto platforms, and global digital ecosystems. Their technology combines identity verification, device intelligence, behavioural analytics, and risk modelling to help businesses make onboarding and fraud decisions in real time. We’re looking to connect with Financial Crime Analysts interested in supporting fraud prevention, transaction monitoring, identity risk analysis, and AML operations within modern digital identity ecosystems. Responsibilities: Monitor customer onboarding activity and transaction flows for suspicious or anomalous behaviour Review alerts generated through fraud detection, AML, and risk monitoring systems Perform customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and KYC reviews Analyse identity, behavioural, and device intelligence signals to identify fraud risks Investigate potentially suspicious activity and escalate cases where appropriate Support sanctions screening, PEP reviews, and adverse media checks Maintain accurate case documentation and investigation records Assist in identifying fraud trends and improving detection processes Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Product, and Operational teams Support ongoing monitoring and regulatory reporting obligations where required Exposure to fraud prevention tooling, onboarding systems, or transaction monitoring platforms is beneficial Experience within fintech, payments, digital identity, crypto, or regulated environments is advantageous About you: We’re interested in connecting with Financial Crime Analysts with experience in: KYC, AML, Fraud Operations, or Financial Crime Analysis Customer onboarding reviews and due diligence processes Transaction monitoring, fraud alert handling, or suspicious activity investigationsIdentity verification, fraud prevention, or digital onboarding environments Working with fraud monitoring or case management systems Analysing customer, transactional, or behavioural data to identify risk indicators Preparing investigation notes and maintaining compliance documentation Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments Knowledge of AML regulations, fraud typologies, and financial crime controls is beneficial If you’re working within Financial Crime Operations, AML, or Fraud Analysis and are interested in next-generation identity verification and digital onboarding technology environments, we’d be interested in speaking with you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Angove Partners
