Hospital Medical Leader (DVM) and/or Experienced Associate Veterinarian

Position Vetco Total Care Hospital Medical Leader Responsibilities Review hospital P&L and partner with medical and operations field leaders to drive performance, efficiency, and exceptional care quality. Ensure the highest level of patient care and client experience; drive continuous improvement in clinical skills. Utilize Vetco Total Care hospital technology—cloud-based practice management, digital and dental x‑ray, Idexx, Butterfly iQ+ ultrasound, Vetology AI, VMED Dop 2, VETSCAN IMAGYST—to deliver the highest standards of care. Perform routine, diagnostic, and complex procedures including radiographs and ultrasounds, dental extractions and prophylaxis, spays/neuters, abdominal exploratory, and mass removals. Build relationships with pet parents and model respect and empathy. Lead and mentor a team of licensed and trained veterinary technicians and assistants. Collaborate with local medical directors and the broader Petco team to foster a supportive, respectful, and collaborative work culture.
