In this itinerant position, you will deliver essential therapies to students, helping them reach their full potential during a key coverage period from November through February.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the district
• Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 population
• Must complete TEA fingerprinting requirements unless already cleared through recent school district employment (results take approximately 7 days; candidates must be cleared prior to the start date)
• Submission of references from the two most recent supervisors is required for consideration

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to support each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Adapt interventions to meet each child’s unique needs and foster their independence
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with relevant regulations and school guidelines
• Travel between assigned campuses, managing a varied caseload as an integral member of the district’s education team

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• On-site role, itinerant across multiple campuses
• Assignment covers a maternity leave, November through February
