Make an impact this school year by supporting students across multiple campuses as a contract physical therapist near Plano, TX. This full-time, itinerant position offers the opportunity to provide therapy for students from kindergarten through high school, ensuring their needs are met during a key period covering a maternity leave from November through February. You’ll collaborate closely with educational teams, adapting therapy plans and fostering students’ growth in the school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Texas Physical Therapy license required
• Previous school-based physical therapy experience highly preferred
• Availability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Comfortable traveling between multiple school locations within the district
• Ability to support a diverse caseload, including students in grades K-12
• Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability
• Must complete fingerprinting through the TEA, unless already cleared by recent service in another public school district (please allow up to 7 days for results)
• Ability to submit references for your two most recent supervisors as part of the application process

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group therapy services in alignment with students’ IEP goals
• Assess, document, and monitor student progress
• Consult with teachers, families, and other school professionals to optimize learning access
• Travel between assigned schools as required for student sessions and team collaboration
• Maintain thorough records and compliance with district and state regulations
