Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health Salary Range : $145,000 – $155,000 L ocation: Brooklyn, NY (Onsite) Position Summary A leading hospital system in Brooklyn is seeking a Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health to oversee inpatient psychiatric services. This role will partner closely with senior leadership to manage unit operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive clinical excellence. Responsibilities Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Employment Type: Direct Hire Key Duties: Oversee daily operations of an inpatient behavioral health/psychiatric unit, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care Collaborate with Director-level leadership on clinical strategy, operational planning, and performance improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with NYSDOH, OMH, DOHMH, JCAHO, and other regulatory and accreditation standards, including survey readiness Manage admissions, discharges, and patient flow while monitoring outcomes and quality metrics Lead staffing, budgeting, resource allocation, and data-driven reporting to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement Requirements Licenses: Active RN license Skills: 5+ years RN experience 5+ years psychiatric/behavioral health clinical experience 2+ years leadership/management experience MUST HAVE: Experience managing a psychiatric unit within a hospital setting Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and quality improvement methodologies (CQI, RCA) Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills About Us RCM Healthcare Services' mission is to provide opportunities for qualified candidates across medical professions.
