Business Manager

Location: Fargo, ND, at aerialPLOT Headquarters .

aerialPLOT is a web-based software platform for agricultural research and on-farm evaluations. Our technology automates the extraction of agronomic data from aerial imagery, enabling researchers, ag retailers, and innovative producers to analyze and share insights efficiently across the growing season.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Business Manager to support the administrative and business execution needs of aerialPLOT. This role focuses on contracts, invoicing follow-up, documentation, and internal accountability, while supporting company leadership in tracking priorities and ensuring key items move forward.

The Business Manager will work closely with leadership, internal staff, and external partners (accountants, CPAs, and attorneys) to ensure business processes, paperwork, and follow-ups are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Track and follow up on internal forms, paperwork, and administrative requirements

- Prepare, organize, and maintain customer, vendor, and service contracts

- Track invoicing and payment status and follow up as needed

- Interface with external partners responsible for bookkeeping and QuickBooks

- Coordinate information and documentation for attorneys and CPAs

- Support leadership by tracking action items, deadlines, and follow-ups

- Assist with light project coordination and status tracking as needed

- Coordinate meetings, scheduling, and basic administrative logistics

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field or 5+ years of relevant experience

- Strong experience with documentation, follow-through, and administrative coordination

- Highly tech-savvy; comfortable working across Microsoft 365 and a variety of modern business tools

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams

Preferred

- Familiarity with basic accounting and financial processes

- Experience working with external accountants, CPAs, or legal professionals

- Experience supporting project coordination or task tracking

- Experience in a small or growing organization
