Job Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on weldments, tanks, and metal components according to weld process specifications.
- Use GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW welding processes to produce quality welds.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
- Complete hand layouts of weldments with little to no supervision.
- Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and welding best practices.
- Previous MIG welding experience required.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Experience with GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW welding processes preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Regularly lift 5-25 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
