Non-Profit / Community Development Volunteer

Position Overview:

The Nonprofit Internship serves as a key function of Forming Lives Foundation (FLF) by providing direct support to the President. This volunteer opportunity involves administrative assignments, research, communication with donors and supporters, and assisting with promotional work for fundraising and community outreach events.

Responsibility:

Communication – Engage with donors, volunteers, and supporters to build relationships for Forming Lives Foundation.

Fundraising Activities – Assist with coordinating fundraising efforts while exploring innovative approaches to generate support.

Outreach – Increase awareness of Forming Lives’ mission to as wide an audience as possible; Search and inspire new supporters to donate money

Social Media –- Updates the social media page with fresh content to improve engagement and outreach

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Creative self-starter who possesses an interest and passion for nonprofit organizations

Experience with website maintenance and social media platforms

• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with the team
• Be flexible and willing to take on other tasks in this start-up environment

Compensation –This is an unpaid volunteer position. There is an opportunity for school credit if allowed by the college/university.
