About the Company Boyd Richards Parker & Colonnelli, P.L. (“BRPC”) is searching for talented, team-oriented lateral associate attorneys who are committed to strengthening a growing practice group. BRPC has accomplished what has been difficult if not impossible for many: Increasing business in the first-party property division while nearly halving the file count per attorney and growing our case load as a firm. Those hired will also have an opportunity to gain exposure in general liability and third-party practice, as well as gain exposure to other areas of law if desired. AND BE CURRENTLY LICENSED TO PRACTICE IN FL (admitted to FL Bar) Responsibilities Assisting in the management of cases from inception. Attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials Assisting in the preparation of pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents Preparing timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status and ongoing activitiesAbility to prioritize workload based on deadlines Communicating effectively with attorneys and paralegal Required Skills Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills Ability to interact with attorneys, paralegals, court personnel, opposing counsel, clients, and office staff in a professional manner Ability to delegate and prioritize as necessary Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Knowledge of ProLaw and NetDocs is a plus Pay range and compensation package BRPC compensates near the top of the pay scale in Florida for its practice areas.
