Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week (3 shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 25-bed ICU at a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Titrate vasoactive and inotrope medications and manage patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Perform and assist with procedures including intubation, central line and arterial line placement, and chest tube management
• Operate and monitor equipment including GE Monitors, Hamilton BiPAPs and high-flow devices, Puritan ventilators, and Hemospheres
• Complete documentation using Meditech Expanse and conduct bedside shift report with MyCare board updates each shift
• Participate in a floating rotation as needed; travelers float first per unit policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Strong telemetry skills
• Experience titrating vasoactive and inotrope medications
• Chest tube experience
• Expected schedule includes 4 weekend shifts per month

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Open heart surgery experience
• Temporary pacing experience
• Swan-Ganz catheter experience
