Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Coverage Needed: June 29, 2026 at 7:00 AM - July 6, 2026 at 7:00 AM

Practice Setting:Inpatient

Coverage Details:

• Interventional Cardiology STEMI call coverage
• Call is for unassigned patients
• Availability for consults on unassigned cardiology inpatients and additional procedures as credentialed
• 30-minute call response time required
• Admissions required

Facility Details:

• Hospital Stroke Certified
• Trauma Level III

Department Details:

• 3 exam rooms
• 2 Cath Labs
• All ER based

Orientation:Orientation is preferred the day before the first day of call if possible. Orientation time varies depending on provider familiarity with MediTech.

Staffing:

• 2 full-time Interventional Cardiologists on staff
• 7 RNs
• 8 techs
• Call team consists of 3 RNs and 1 tech
• Other cardiologists present during assignment: Yes
• No supervision of other healthcare providers required

Patient Volume:Locum volume varies from 0 to a few cases per week

Requirements:

• Interventional Cardiology Board Certified - Required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible - Required
• Active West Virginia license - Required
• IMLC Accepted
• Fellowship preferred
• BLS - Required
• EMTALA - Required
