Job Title Aisles Online Manager Department Aisles Online FLSA Status Non-Exempt Overview Oversees the planning, implementation, staffing, and tracking for the fulfillment and delivery of the store’s online shopping website. Responsible for maintaining order fulfillment processes and scheduling personal shoppers and delivery drivers. Works to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies. Supervises department employees. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all interactions. Greet and assist customers, including escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, and loading/unloading heavy items. Maintain smooth operation of the order fulfillment process. Monitor online orders to ensure timely fulfillment. Train new employees and manage employee scheduling. Address and resolve customer service issues to ensure satisfaction. Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain proper temperature control of products. Provide education on new policies and procedures. Follow company policies and store guidelines. Report to work on time and according to schedule. Secondary Duties and Responsibilities Perform additional job-related duties and special projects as requested. Supervisory Responsibilities Assign, review, and plan work for department staff, maintain standards, coordinate activities, and diagnose employee issues. Basic computer literacy: word processing, spreadsheet, email, and store software. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be skilled with computers and the internet. Physical Requirements Must be able to perform sedentary work, occasionally lift or carry objects up to 10 pounds, and perform movements such as stooping, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive motions. Must see detail at near range with or without corrective lenses. Working Conditions Position performed mainly in a retail store environment. Exposure to dust, noise, temperature extremes, moving equipment, and possible electrical shock. High demand to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects daily in a fast‑paced setting. Equipment Used to Perform Job PC, modem, printer with Windows NT, Microsoft Office, e‑mail, Internet Explorer. UNIX systems with VDTs, cash registers, electronic scales, calculator, telephone, fax, and copy machine. Contact Daily interaction with store personnel, suppliers/vendors, customers, and the public. Occasional contact with federal or state regulatory agencies for inspections. Confidentiality Has access to confidential information including inventory costs, sales, e‑mail messages, pricing, sales reports, profit and loss reports, and operational data.
