Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced hospital setting. Candidates will deliver compassionate, specialized nursing services to diverse patient populations in the emergency department.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions rapidly and accurately to prioritize care efficiently.
• Administer emergency interventions, medications, and treatments per established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans.
• Document patient observations, treatments, and responses thoroughly in the EMR system.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to physicians and families promptly.
• Maintain certification requirements and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid NY RN license with all current active certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ED experience, including pediatric cases.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC required prior to or at time of submission).
• Proficient in the use of EPIC EMR and specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, emergency procedures, and trauma care.
• Must have reliable local or travel experience, with documentation to verify.
