Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 3-5 years of MRI experience to work in a high-volume, multi-modality imaging department at a Level II Trauma Center.

Details

• Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Primary Stroke Center, and Magnet-designated facility
• Work in an MRI department with 6 scanners (5 currently operating) across GE and Siemens platforms
• Weekly census of 250-300 patients across outpatient, inpatient, and ED settings
• Patient types include implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body, and cardiac cases
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 4x8hr day shifts, Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 0600-1430, 32 hours per week
• Weekend rotation maximum every 3rd weekend
• On-call Saturday and Sunday nights 2100-0630, with backup on-call Saturday and Sunday 0630-2100 and a 30-minute response time
• Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call
• No floating required, MRI only

Requirements

• License required if applicable
• BLS and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required
• 3-5 years of MRI experience required
• GE and Siemens scanner experience required
• Experience with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body, and cardiac patients
• Breast MRI, Breast MRI Biopsy, and Cardiac MRI experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Experience with GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magnetom Skyra, and McKesson PACS required

• Work alongside a Lead Tech/Coordinator and Imaging Assistants in a collaborative team environment
• Traveler will never work alone on shift
• 3 days of orientation provided

• Former Advocate Health employees must be separated at least 12 months before becoming eligible for travel assignments
