Job Summary

MRI Technologist – MRI. The position performs magnetic resonance imaging examinations and associated X-ray procedures in a clinical setting. The role requires independent practice, Siemens equipment experience, and the ability to support a varied emergency room and trauma caseload.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience; Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Magnetic Resonance (ARRT MR) credential; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; valid Washington license; experience with emergency room and trauma imaging; ability to perform X-ray procedures involving the extremities, abdomen, gastrointestinal system, spine, pelvis, head, chest, thorax, musculoskeletal system, lower extremities, and upper extremities.
• Preferred Qualifications: Siemens magnetic resonance imaging equipment experience; ability to work independently; experience with magnetic resonance angiography, contrast media preparation or administration, peripheral intravenous starts, radiation safety, and imaging of adult acute-care and outpatient patients.
• Additional Information: Weekend coverage includes one MRI technologist on duty with an assistant supporting examinations, patient transport, and orders. The average caseload is 6–9 examinations per day.
