Description

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift MRI Technologist with ER experience and at least 1 year of MRI experience to perform MRI and X-ray procedures.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI Tech position supporting Radiology/Cardiology
• 3x12 night shifts from 18:30 to 07:00, set consecutive nights
• Also performs X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and upper/lower extremities
• Performs MRI studies including abdomen/pelvis, MRA, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiac MRI with/without contrast
• Works with adult acute care and ER/trauma patient populations
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment
• No on-call requirement
• May be required to float between sister facilities

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• ER experience required
• BLS and ARRT(MR) certification required
• Washington state license required if applicable (pending license accepted)
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic EMR experience required
• Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV insertion
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront at time of submission
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract
• Former permanent staff may return as a traveler after a 3-month waiting period, provided they live outside a 50-mile radius
