Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

As a key provider, you will deliver comprehensive care in both office and inpatient settings across multiple sites within the healthcare system. The practice is well-equipped, featuring onsite ultrasound facilities and supported by a skilled team, including a nurse practitioner, RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, and an efficient front office team. You will manage a predominantly high-risk patient population, handling an average of 27 scheduled patients per day. The scope of practice includes procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and management of conditions like pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, and congenital abnormalities.

Schedule and Assignment Details

Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with weekday clinic coverage from 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM, complemented by nightly call duties. Weekend call coverage is also a requirement, ensuring comprehensive patient care. The assignment is ongoing, with multiple open dates available for immediate engagement. Physicians will rotate between two primary locations approximately 30 minutes apart, providing diverse clinical exposure.

Support and Work Environment

Join a supportive two-provider service model with collaborative coverage between two main sites. The practice environment is designed to foster professional collaboration and high-quality patient care. Physicians will benefit from the use of EPIC and Viewpoint EMR systems, facilitating seamless documentation and patient management. Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Completion of a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Possession of a valid Virginia medical license.
• Current BLS certification.
• AIUM Certification preferred but not required.
• Availability to provide 1-2 weeks of coverage per month on an ongoing basis.
• Submission of a Self-Query NPDB report within 30 days of presentation.
