Information Technology Specialist

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, headquartered in Rockville, Maryland. What We Are Looking For Basic Qualifications: Applicants for the 2210 Information Technology Management series at the GS-13 grade level must have Information Technology (IT) related experience which demonstrates proficiency in the following competencies: Attention to Detail: Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Leading IT projects using Agile methodologies, coordinating with stakeholders and vendors, and ensuring delivery of secure, compliant systems within scope and schedule. Conducting business analysis by gathering, documenting, and translating stakeholder requirements into technical solutions and system specifications. Analyzing requirements and developing/supporting enterprise applications using cloud-based platforms or tools such as Salesforce or .NET including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and service level agreement (SLA) based operations support. Managing security operations such as vulnerability remediation, Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) tracking, incident response coordination, and supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) and compliance activities.
