The John Galt Insurance Agency is an independent property and casualty insurance agency that was established in 1956. We are located in Fort Lauderdale, just east of the turnpike on Commercial Blvd and our agency currently employs about 50 individuals.

The John Galt Insurance Agency is an independent property and casualty insurance agency which has been serving the needs of our clients for over 60 years. We are looking for a sales manager who would play a key role in the company and who would be directly responsible in maintaining the smooth and efficient operations of his/her section of the business. Management and sales experience is required but insurance experience is not a requirement.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The manager has to plan, direct and coordinate different aspects of the operating area he/she has been allotted
• Make sure that operations run smoothly and according to company policy
• Must maintain good relationships with brokers and insurance companies and their representatives
• Continually see that the marketing strategies are successfully implemented and are actually contributing to the profits of the company
• Screen, interview, hire and train those that report to him/her
• Evaluates and gives feedback required for his employees to be successful

Education and Qualifications A College degree is desirable but not a requirement; Past experience in a sales management role with a track record of getting results is a requirement.

Pay in line with experience level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
