This individual will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our inventory operations in a dynamic and fast-paced warehouse environment. This position requires the candidate to spend 50% of their time in the office and 50% on the warehouse floor.The** Inventory Coordinator** will ensure the accuracy and sustainability of inventory management, working closely with various systems like SAP, Synapse, and RF technology to track, maintain, and optimize inventory. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management : Oversee and manage inventory across a 500,000+ square foot warehouse, ensuring proper tracking of over 800 SKUs. Technical Proficiency : Utilize SAP, WMS, and RF systems to manage and track inventory movements and reconcile discrepancies in real-time. Inventory Reconciliation : Work proactively to drive 100% inventory reconciliation and minimize inventory variance, ensuring accurate stock counts and data integrity at all times. Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis: Address any discrepancies or issues with inventory, identifying root causes and implementing long-term countermeasures to prevent future problems. Process Improvement: Actively engage in process development and streamlining to optimize workflow, minimize waste, and improve inventory management efficiency, including applying Lean principles. Customer Communication and Relations: Serve as the point of contact for internal and external customers regarding inventory queries, maintaining a professional and positive demeanor at all times. Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts or inventory-related issues on the floor with professionalism and clarity, ensuring timely resolution to meet customer expectations. Time Management and Prioritization: Stay organized and efficiently prioritize tasks to ensure operational deadlines are met. Willing to stay beyond scheduled hours when necessary to ensure accuracy and completion of pressing issues. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date inventory records and reports, highlighting any trends or issues for senior management review. Requirements: Experience : Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics, with a strong background in SAP, WMS, and RF technology. Demonstrated ability to manage complex inventory across large-scale warehouses (500,000+ square feet, 800+ SKUs). Proven track record of inventory reconciliation and improving inventory sustainability. Technical Skills: High technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and warehouse management systems. Familiarity with SAP and Synapse for inventory tracking. Character Traits: Positive, “can-do” attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and teach others. Professional, with strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer interactions.Must be comfortable with constructive criticism and have a resilient approach to high-pressure situations. **Additional Skills: ** Experience with Lean processes and process improvement. Strong delegation skills, able to manage tasks and direct teams as needed. Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed in conflict situations and to effectively resolve them. Physical Demands: Ability to work both in the office and on the warehouse floor. Comfortable with extended hours during peak times or when urgent inventory issues arise. Work Environment: Office and warehouse setting, requiring the ability to navigate both environments. Strong attention to detail required in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Zero tolerance for inventory damage; must be diligent in identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
