CPR & First Aid Instructor — Independent Contractor

Revive CPR LLC, a veteran-owned business and American Red Cross Licensed Training Provider, is seeking experienced, certified instructors to teach occasional weekend CPR, First Aid, AED, and BLS classes.

Required Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification
• Current American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor certification required before teaching assignments begin
• Must own and provide all required training equipment and supplies necessary to conduct American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, AED, and BLS classes
• Reliable transportation and weekend availability
• Strong communication and classroom instruction skills

Both American Red Cross instructor certifications are required before teaching assignments can begin. CPR provider-level certification alone does not qualify.

Schedule & Compensation

• Independent contractor (1099)
• Occasional weekend teaching assignments, generally 2 days per month
• $125 per standard 2.5-hour blended-learning, in-person skills session ($50 per instructional hour)
• Weekend teaching dates typically include two 2.5-hour classes scheduled back-to-back, providing $250 in total compensation for the two classes
• Higher compensation is offered for traditional classroom courses (non-blended learning) and on-site workplace training assignments

About the Opportunity

Students complete their online coursework before attending the in-person skills session. Instructors lead hands-on practice, evaluate skills, and deliver a positive learning experience.

Revive CPR coordinates class scheduling and provides curriculum and administrative support.

If you currently hold the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification but do not yet have the BLS Instructor certification, we encourage you to apply.
