Job Description Daycare Assistants (Full-Time & Part-Time) Carousel Academy is looking for caring, energetic, and dependable individuals to join our team! We are currently hiring full-time and part-time Daycare Assistants to help provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines. Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Help create a warm, positive, and welcoming classroom environment. Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth through play and learning. Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, and nap time as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom. Communicate professionally with families and coworkers. Qualifications Experience working with young children is encouraged. 18 years of age or older. A positive attitude, patience, and a genuine love for working with children. Reliable, responsible, and a team player. Ability to meet New York State childcare employment requirements (background check, fingerprinting, and required trainings).
