Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week

Monday Friday (8-hour shifts)
OR 4 x 10-hour shifts

Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nurse Practitioner II to provide comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting. This role requires advanced clinical expertise, independent decision-making, and current certification/licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with physicians as needed to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments.
Provide preventive healthcare services and patient education.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
Prescribe medications, controlled substances, and medical devices in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Develop and implement treatment plans based on established clinical protocols.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications

Required
Current Nurse Practitioner certification and licensure.
Ability to practice independently within scope of licensure.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
Knowledge of applicable state and federal healthcare regulations.
Excellent communication and patient-care skills.

Preferred
Prior experience practicing in a primary care, family medicine, correctional healthcare, or similar clinical setting.
Experience managing a diverse patient population.
Work Environment
Functions with a high degree of autonomy and clinical judgment.
Works independently with limited physician oversight.
Responsible for diagnosing and treating patients according to established protocols and best practices.
Position requires strong decision-making skills due to the limited availability of physician consultation.
