Supplier Quality Manager

Job Summary We are looking for a Supplier Quality Manager. Join our client to transform the environments where people live, work, and play! We are seeking an expert with a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of supplier development experience, and strong Lean/Six Sigma skills. Candidates can be located near any major city within the US, with travel to Canada required as necessary. Location Detroit, Michigan Job Type Contract Salary $44.44 - 56.02 per hour Work Hours 8am to 4pm Education Bachelors Responsibilities Lead end-to-end supplier performance management for Our Client, tracking KPIs and driving improvements in quality, delivery, capacity, and sustainability. Drive continuous improvement and mitigate supplier risks utilizing Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and structured problem-solving. Manage supplier readiness for new product launches and recovery initiatives, ensuring process validation through APQP and PPAP. Conduct comprehensive supplier audits and capacity assessments to validate technical capabilities and ensure alignment with Our Client's performance standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, operations, and quality teams to establish governance and execute supplier development strategies.
