Production Supervisor

We are recruiting for a Production Supervisor for our manufacturing department.

Direct and coach production operators in the execution of daily/weekly production schedule for multiple packaging lines.

Efficiently meet and exceed production goals while maintaining safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste

Collaborate with the other departments for all production needs

Review, interpret and analyze production data to determine if adjustments must be made

Partner with Human Resources in the recruitment, hiring and training of personnel and other employee relations issues

Encourage teamwork, and build morale among staff

Provide strong leadership to staff in regards to professionalism, courtesy, adhering to policy

May conduct period end inventory and routine raw material inventory

Enforce and maintain SOP's, GMP's, and Safety guidelines

Maintain time and attendance records and track performance for operators

Perform other duties as assigned

Five years supervisory experience in production environment

BA/BS preferred. Associates degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to train on any shift and work any shift as business needs dictate.

Demonstrated professionalism, good work ethic and leadership skills.

Sound math and analytical skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to manage and motivate personnel

Strong initiative, ability to anticipate issues proactively.

Intermediate computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook and AS400.
