Job Title: Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Location: Onsite – Chattanooga, TN
Schedule: 2nd Shift, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM (Monday–Friday) with rotating Saturdays (2:30 PM – 6:30 PM)

Job Summary:
A manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day production operations. This individual will play a key role in maintaining equipment efficiency by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across a variety of manufacturing machinery.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime
Replace belts, bearings, sensors, cables, and perform motor changes
Pull shards, extract and fix bolts, and complete basic mechanical fixes
Conduct daily machine inspections and respond to equipment breakdowns
Support production by ensuring machinery runs efficiently and safely
Maintain a strong understanding of belt systems and belt tracking

Qualifications

2–5+ years of hands-on experience in a maintenance or mechanical role
Experience supporting equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
