Job Description

CDR ProSource is seeking a reliable CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team in a stable industrial environment in Three Rivers, MI. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, hands-on individual with machining experience who can operate CNC lathe equipment and support production goals.

Job Details

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Three Rivers
Pay Rate: $21 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift – Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Fridays Off (3-day weekend)

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
Load raw materials and remove finished parts from machines
Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and job instructions
Monitor machine performance and ensure quality standards are met
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Perform minor machine adjustments as needed
Report equipment or quality issues to supervisors
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Support production goals and team efficiency

Requirements

Previous CNC lathe or machining experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and job instructions
Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Basic mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
