Senior Technical Accountant

Palmer Group is partnering with a well-established organization in its search for a Senior Technical Accountant . We are searching for a candidate who can bring six or more years of experience to the table. The role combines handson accounting, technical research, and crossfunctional collaboration while supporting highvisibility reporting, audits, and longterm planning efforts. • Prepare, review, and analyze consolidated and standalone financial statements, forecasts, and longterm business plans
• Record journal entries and maintain, reconcile, and analyze the general ledger
• Support accounting operations related to purchasing, inventory, and accounts payable
• Develop and maintain financial models to support reporting and planning initiatives
• Support internal and external audit activities and related documentation requests
• Research, interpret, and apply accounting standards and technical guidance
• Maintain Oracle general ledger modules and related financial system configurations
• Prepare and manage financial consolidations using Hyperion
• Present financial insights through clear written analysis and verbal communication
• Contribute to special projects and crossfunctional initiatives as needed
• Assist with the development, documentation, and improvement of accounting policies and procedures

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; MBA or CPA preferred
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and financial analysis
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office tools
• Experience working with financial systems and enterprise accounting platforms
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
