Role Description The Licensed Real Estate Agent role is a full-time hybrid position based in Joliet, IL, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks such as administrative work, marketing, and client follow-up. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and following up with leads, conducting buyer and seller consultations, preparing and presenting listings, and showing properties. The agent will guide clients through the full transaction process, including pricing strategies, writing and negotiating offers, coordinating inspections, and working closely with lenders, attorneys, and other professionals. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in brokerage systems, staying current on local market trends and regulations, and participating in team meetings, trainings, and community events. Agents are expected to represent the brokerage professionally, uphold ethical standards, and deliver consistent, high-quality customer service. Qualifications Active Real Estate License in the state of Illinois and a solid understanding of Real Estate and Real Property principles. Strong Sales skills, including lead generation, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing transactions. Demonstrated Customer Service skills with a client-centered approach, clear communication, and relationship-building abilities. Comfort with basic technology tools (CRM systems, email, online listing platforms) and willingness to learn new software as needed. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team in a hybrid office/remote environment. Reliable transportation for property showings, client meetings, and local market activities. Knowledge of the Joliet, IL and surrounding real estate markets is preferred but not required; willingness to learn local market trends is essential.
