Job Title: Office Services Specialist - On Call (Temporary) Reports To: Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, Human Resources, or equivalent leadership. Location: San Diego, California – in‑person at the main client site with occasional travel within a 25‑mile radius. Overview: The Field Support Specialist (FSS) provides backfill coverage across the region to ensure continuous customer support, maintain business continuity, and meet service‑level agreements. Duties and Responsibilities Mail Services Provides high‑quality service to all clients. Processes inbound and outbound mail/packages, sorting by recipient/department using manual or electronic chain‑of‑custody procedures. Conducts packing, sealing, and other shipping and receiving duties. Reprographics Services Assists with copy/print production and monitors equipment for functionality. Provides binding services such as GBC, Velo, Coil, and Wire. Operates multifunction devices, replenishing toner and paper. Scans, images, and reproduces documents as needed. Office Services Maintains a tidy and organized Office Services Center. Services and replenishes pantry, conference, kitchen, and meeting areas. Performs general and preventive maintenance duties. Oversees office equipment maintenance and safety tests. Organizes, cleans, and stocks breakroom and meeting rooms. Monitors and replenishes office supplies. Orders supplies based on inventory checks. Front of House Provides reception or concierge coverage as needed. Welcomes guests, catalogs information, and orients new clients. Represents SPS Global positively in all interactions. Maintains quality of the lobby concierge experience with a cooperative and courteous approach. Handles guest arrival, coordinates with client hosts and security, and manages access levels. Answers and routes global calls. Logs visitors into the registration system. Provides light administrative support. Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills. Possesses intermediate to expert proficiency in MS Office Suite. Can multitask and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Organizes workflows efficiently. Displays working knowledge of MFD equipment. Understands shipping/receiving procedures and follows instructions. Works independently and completes projects. Proactively seeks work during downtime. Maintains composure and professionalism with all employees. Qualifications and Education Requirements High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. Preference for 6+ months of prior work experience. Display excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Demonstrate analytical problem‑solving ability. Show superb written and verbal communication skills. Apply current knowledge or learn computer‑based systems required for the position. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Adhere to all applicable policies and procedures. Physical Demands Approximately 50% of the time: Handle fine/gross motor skills, including grasping, lifting 25 lbs. individually and 50 lbs. with assistance. Walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for extended periods. Operate office machinery and equipment such as ladders and binding machinery. Employ vision skills for precise visual tasks (e.g., color calibration). Travel Travel is essential; requires reliable transportation. Assignments may include inter‑site travel after arrival to the primary location. Travel distance will be within the assigned region. Compensation
