Role Description the Physical Therapy Assistant role at Infinite Care Consulting Services is a full-time, on-site position located in Tavares, FL. In this role, the Physical Therapy Assistant supports licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans to help residents improve mobility, strength, and functional independence. Daily responsibilities include assisting with therapeutic exercises and activities, monitoring patient progress, documenting care, and ensuring safe use of equipment and assistive devices. The Physical Therapy Assistant collaborates closely with rehabilitation and nursing teams, communicates with residents and families about therapy goals, and contributes to a supportive, patient-centered environment. The position also involves adhering to regulatory and facility standards, maintaining accurate records, and participating in interdisciplinary care planning. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to assist in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic activities. Strong Patient Care and Communication skills, including the ability to interact respectfully and clearly with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Familiarity with Occupational Therapy concepts and collaborative rehabilitation approaches in a sub-acute or long-term care setting. Active state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Florida, in good standing. Previous experience in a skilled nursing, sub-acute, or rehabilitation facility preferred. Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist residents, and to stand and move for extended periods. Strong documentation skills and basic proficiency with electronic health records.
