Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for a Med Surg/Telemetry unit in Napa California. This is a full-time leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations clinical standards staff development and overall performance of the assigned patient care unit.

The Nurse Manager will maintain 24-hour accountability for the unit and provide strong clinical leadership to ensure safe high-quality patient-centered care. This is a great opportunity for an experienced RN leader who is ready to step into a key management role within a respected healthcare organization known for clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Maintain 24-hour accountability for patient care staffing quality and unit performance
• Support staff development coaching training and performance management
• Oversee personnel management budgeting and fiscal responsibilities for the department
• Develop and maintain clinical standards policies and best practices
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the assigned unit
• Promote a culture of patient-focused whole-person care
• Collaborate with nursing leadership providers and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with regulatory safety and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Nursing Administration Nursing or a related field
• Active California Registered Nurse license or ability to obtain upon hire
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association upon hire
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting
• RN leadership experience preferred such as Charge RN Relief Nurse Assistant Nurse Manager or Nurse Manager experience

• Bachelors degree in Nursing
• Prior Med Surg Telemetry or acute care leadership experience
