Job Description: Copia is seeking a Manager, People & Culture to lead the curation, development, and facilitation of internal training programs as Copia scales. This role also drives onboarding, helps manage core HR administration, and supports culture & engagement programs, while helping field employee HR questions. The ideal candidate is a confident facilitator who partners with the Sr. Director, People & Culture to design and roll out training, onboarding, policy, and performance processes as those programs are built out. This role requires genuine comfort with ambiguity and a builder's mindset — someone energized by creating structure, rather than someone who needs an established playbook to do good work. The Manager, People & Culture will report directly to the Sr. Director, People & Culture working cross-functionally with all internal teams in an individual contributor capacity. Key Responsibilities: Curate, develop, and facilitate internal training programs and career pathways including live/virtual facilitation, tools like LinkedIn Learning, and identifying external resources or consultants as needed Lead onboarding end-to-end and continuously improve the process as headcount grows Manage day-to-day HR administration to include file audits, compliance documentation, and HRIS accuracy, helping build and maintain the repeatable processes behind it as the function matures Serve as one of the team’s day-to-day points of contact for employee HR questions, triaging issues and partnering with the Sr. Director on more complex matters Support the oversight of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and internal committees Own Copia’s social media presence and recognition system administration, supporting culture, recognition, and engagement efforts across a multi-office team Partner with the Sr. Director on benefits administration, policy development, job description development, and training & development, helping translate strategy into workable process Provide Talent Acquisition support as needed, helping the team with the recruiting process What We Look For: Confidentiality is non-negotiable, paired with the ability to approach sensitive employee issues with curiosity, empathy, and neutrality A genuine sense of fun and creativity as “having fun” is one of our core values Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written correspondence Highly driven with creative thinking, problem-solving, integrity, and strong work ethic Proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Demonstrated collaborative partnerships with peers, management, and vendors Resourcefulness and polite persistence Genuine flexibility and patience to move between structured HR administration and undefined Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of professional experience in an HR generalist capacity Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field Proven experience with Microsoft Office, HRIS software, and Applicant Tracking Systems Ability to work in the Lake Oswego, OR office a minimum of 3 days per week Ability to travel up to 25% Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship Compensation: At Copia, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your skills, qualifications, location, and experience.
