General Summary: Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will be able to demonstrate a high level of organizational and time management, strong problem-solving skills and reasoning as well as a high degree of attention to detail. Must be a “self-starter” and be able to work effectively with others. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for preparing reports monitored by executive leadership. Perform account reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts. Assist in preparation of Lead Schedules for Year-End Audits Interface with all levels of organizational personnel Support with the integrations and publication of Financial Statements and Lead Schedules Monthly write-off of non-Accounts Receivables Transactions Proper coding for American Express transactions and posting of related Journal Entry Re-class incorrect coding to proper Income Statement accounts Participate in Physical Inventory counts. Support the Month-End system close. Provide Support to Stores as needed. Any other additional task requested by Senior Management Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1-2 years of accounting experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus Excellent problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Able to multi-task, plan and prioritize work effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr Lucchese
