Job Opportunity – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: September 25, 2026

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Night rotating shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs. Required to work at least every other holiday.

Highlights:

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit specializing in epilepsy monitoring and specialized care for patients up to 25 years of age
• Rotating shift schedule with 12-hour shifts
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation
• Contract extensions available for up to 18 months
• Collaborative interdisciplinary team environment
• Hours submitted via Qualivis Lotus system

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license or active Compact state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent Pediatric experience (travel experience accepted)
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• EKG and inotropes experience required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director from the past 12 months required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Background check with no open cases; no license hits accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
