About the Role We are seeking a dedicated IT System Administrator to join our team and support the IT infrastructure of our healthcare facilities. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining, managing, and optimizing the IT systems that underpin our hospital operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers—both physical and virtual—managing network components such as routing, VLANs, and Radius, and ensuring the security and efficiency of storage and archive systems. Additionally, you will handle user account management, enforce group policies via Active Directory, and support hardware and software deployment across various client systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a complex, technology‑driven environment where your expertise directly contributes to the quality of healthcare services provided to patients and staff. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a successfully completed degree in information and telecommunications technology or a comparable qualification. You should have solid experience in IT system administration, including familiarity with technologies such as Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server, and VMWare. Strong knowledge of Windows‑based systems and network infrastructure is essential. You should demonstrate enthusiasm for working with complex IT environments and possess a keen interest in technical challenges. Personal qualities such as independence, structured work approach, and responsibility are crucial, along with excellent team and communication skills. Prior experience in healthcare IT environments is advantageous but not mandatory. Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include managing and maintaining the hospital's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of servers and network components, and supporting the deployment of hardware and software. You will oversee the installation, configuration, and updates of physical and virtual servers, manage network routing, VLANs, and Radius configurations, and ensure data integrity through reliable backup and restore processes. Additionally, you will administer storage and archive systems, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues promptly. User account management, including creating, modifying, and deleting accounts in Active Directory, will be part of your daily tasks. You will also collaborate with other IT team members to implement security measures and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
