Key Responsibilities: Providing communications and project support for initiatives under the Governor’s Life Science Initiative and the Bolstering Biotech Initiative. Collaborating with life science team members on activities such as the development of written materials highlighting CLIENT investments in life science, the ideation and implementation of marketing outreach activities, working in collaboration with Public Affairs and Communications teams. Working with team members to develop and implement an outreach plan to celebrate the Life Science Division’s 10 th anniversary and showcase the division’s accomplishments and the impact of CLIENT’s support of the life science ecosystem Working on the development of materials for internal use (such as for senior CLIENT staff, the Chamber, and such internal partners as loans & grants, legal, and finance, as well as for external use, such as for legislators, stakeholders from industry, academic centers, the venture community, and the public. Qualifications: Familiar with message development, social media channels, and have experience with a number of different communications vehicles. Excellent writing ability and outstanding judgment, work ethic, and performance Understanding of/interest in life science industry and economic development Comfortable using data and storytelling to communicate key messages Ability to convey in writing complex information in clear and understandable formats to a wide range of audiences Disciplined and deadline-driven; can work well under pressure Able to switch gears to work on more than one project at a time Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt Innovative, organized, and self-motivated Impeccable listening skills Accepting of and patient with some level of bureaucracy Able to absorb candid feedback Equal Opportunity & Inclusion Statement Cogent Infotech is an equal opportunity employer.
