Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required; candidates with 2 years of experience may be considered without testing
• Experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Completion of competency testing within 24 hours of submission, when applicable
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and adapt to a float pool environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and acute care nursing skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care as a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse
• Monitor telemetry, assess patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated patient care
• Document accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record using Epic
• Adapt to changing patient needs and float assignments as required in an acute care hospital setting
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and a patient-centered approach throughout each shift
