Schedule & Shift Details: 

• 5 days per week | Guaranteed 38 hours
• Shifts vary based on availability:
  • Mon–Fri: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM, or 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
  • Sat: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
  • Sun: 12:00 PM–6:00 PM
• Weekend availability required (1–2 weekends per month, rotating)
• 30-minute unpaid meal break

Pay Rate: $60/Hr - $70/Hr

 

Job Description:

A growing community pharmacy committed to exceptional patient care and a positive, team-oriented work environment. Seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Pharmacist with Sterile Certification in Texas to join our team in a long-term, full-time role.

This position is responsible for safely and accurately dispensing medications, sterile compounding when appropriate, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service while collaborating with healthcare providers.

 

Responsibilities:

• Receive, review, and accurately fill prescriptions
• Prepare and dispense medications, including sterile compounds as required
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and legality
• Communicate with physicians and healthcare professionals regarding patient medications
• Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Maintain accurate patient records and review PMP for controlled substances
• Manage and monitor inventory, including proper storage and expiration control
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and pharmacy regulations
• Organize pharmacy workflow for efficiency and safety
• Stay current with advancements in pharmacy practice and medications
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited program
• Active Texas Pharmacist License (Required)
• Sterile Compounding Certification – Texas (Required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
