Sr Paralegal - Real Estate

Summary Under the supervision of attorneys, a Senior Paralegal – Real Estate will perform substantive case work, draft legal documents, coordinate real‑estate transactions, and support the firm’s strategic initiatives in the Los Angeles office with a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities Assist with due diligence for real‑estate transactions, reviewing title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys. Develop, monitor, and update closing checklists. Prepare and coordinate execution and delivery of documentation to counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, vendors, etc. Assist with tax‑related applications and prepare petitions for tax consolidation/divisions. Review and abstract commercial leases and prepare lease drafts and amendments. Manage data rooms and matter files. Collaborate with attorneys, clients, outside counsel, and vendors. Mentor junior paralegals and case assistants. Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. Desired Skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. In‑depth knowledge of real‑estate law and related procedures. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and anticipate attorneys’ needs. Knowledge of practice‑area rules, statutes, regulations, and legal authorities. Minimum Education High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred. Minimum Years of Experience Five (5) years of paralegal experience in real‑estate law.
