Position Details:
- Join a 4-physician team providing 24/7 labor & delivery coverage
- 24-hour in-house shifts
- Specific dates needed: October 9, 11, 20, 23, 24, 25, and 29
- Additional future dates may be available
- Emergency/temporary privileges available
- Weekend coverage required
Patient Population:
- OB triage
- Labor & delivery patients
- Patients requiring surgical assistance
- Fetal monitoring
- ER coverage
Setting:
Acute Care Hospital
HCA Florida Palms West Hospital
204-bed facility
Level III NICU
Over 1,800 annual deliveries and 3,200 triage encounters
Responsibilities:
- OB triage
- Deliveries
- Patient management
- Surgical assists
- Fetal monitoring
- ER coverage
Required Procedures:
- OB deliveries
- Surgical assists
EMR System:
Not specified
Support Staff:
- 4-physician OB/GYN Hospitalist team
- Level III NICU
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
- Neonatologists
- Pediatric subspecialists
Days Per Month:
Per diem; approximately 7 shifts currently identified
On-Call/Weekends:
24/7 labor & delivery coverage; weekend coverage required
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Florida license preferred, or in process, or active IMLC compact eligible
- Self-Query NPDB pulled within 30 days of submission
