District Manager
Dunkin' | ZSC Enterprises
The District Manager provides leadership, coaching, and direction to approximately 5-7 Dunkin' restaurants . The DM is responsible for developing Restaurant Managers, driving sales and profitability, ensuring Brand standards, and delivering an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop Restaurant Managers.
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
- Develop future leaders and maintain strong management teams.
Operations & Brand Standards
- Ensure restaurants meet Dunkin' Brand, food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
- Conduct regular store visits and follow up on action plans.
- Ensure successful execution of LTOs, promotions, new products, and Brand initiatives.
Sales & Guest Experience
- Drive sales, transactions, guest satisfaction, and loyalty.
- Understand local market and competitor trends.
- Coach teams on speed, service, accuracy, and hospitality.
- Support local marketing and sales-building initiatives.
Financial Performance
- Manage labor, food cost, waste, and controllable expenses.
- Review sales and P&L performance and create action plans to improve profitability.
- Ensure proper cash handling and operational controls.
Communication & Execution
- Set clear goals and expectations for each restaurant.
- Analyze performance and hold managers accountable for results.
- Partner with franchise ownership and Dunkin' Brand Field Operations.
- Lead district meetings and communicate company priorities.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-unit restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic financial and computer skills.
- Guest-focused with strong business acumen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel between restaurants.
