Forklift Operator

Maersk Ground Freight is seeking a Forklift Operator who holds forklift certification. Essential Functions Utilizing the manifest to pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks. Performing material handling duties, including picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products, and ensuring timeliness and accuracy of packaging and system work. Identifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D). Safely operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding or shrink‑wrap material. Reading and following detailed instructions in a fast‑paced environment. Ensuring a safe and secure work environment, adhering to TSA and OSHA guidelines. Performing other duties as assigned. Skills and Competencies Proficient in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink‑wrap material. Experience using an RF scan gun (required). Previous forklift certification preferred. Ability to work overtime as needed, including occasional weekends. Strong reading and comprehension of work instructions. Ability to work well with others with little supervision. High attention to detail. Capability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted. Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in English. Experience Previous warehouse experience preferred; 1 year experience. Physical Requirements This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time, frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, bending, and lifting objects above the head. Employees must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts. Shift Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday (Thursday and Saturday off) 3rd shift, 9:00 pm to 5:30 am The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
