CDL-A Local Dedicated Truck Driver | Home Daily

Got an open solo seat on our dedicated local fleet running right out of Phoenix. If you're completely done with the OTR grind and want to sleep in your own bed every single night while keeping your paycheck steady, this is the route for you.

You need to be ready to roll completely on your own from day one. Because this account requires immediate solo readiness, we can't take any trainees or teams on this fleet.

Pay and Work Highlights

Hourly Base: You start at a flat $20.00 an hour.

Weekly Average: Drivers on this local run pull in a steady $1,600 gross every single week.

Stackable Cash: You can really boost your hourly clock with extra accessory pay. You get $20.00 extra for every stop you make, plus a flat $75.00 premium for every trailer unload.

Short-Hauls: Any short-distance runs are paid at your full $20.00 hourly rate.

The Labor: This is a high-stamina, physical job. You'll be handling driver-assisted unloads using a trailer liftgate. The freight breaks down to 80% rolling pre-loaded carts and 20% stacking freight onto carts at the stores. You need to be completely fine working hard during those hot Arizona summers.

Where You'll Run: You'll be running local and intrastate loops, delivering to dedicated retail stores throughout major cities in Arizona.

Home Time & Schedule

Home Daily: 100% Home Nightly. You finish your runs and head straight back to your own house every day.

The Shifts: This account runs around the clock, so you just need to be flexible enough to handle a mix of both day and night driving windows.

Weekends & Holidays: Weekend dispatch is a standard part of the job to keep the store pipelines full. On the plus side, you get guaranteed days off on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day to spend with your family.

What It Takes to Qualify

Experience: Requires at least 6 months of OTR within the last year, OR 12 months of OTR within the past 5 years. Local Class A commercial tractor-trailer work counts directly toward this timeline. No trainees allowed.

Credentials: You need a valid Class A CDL and a current DOT Medical Card.

Hiring Radius: You must live within 75 miles of Phoenix, AZ.

Background & Safety: A clean overall driving record and a solid work history are required. You also have to pass a mandatory hair and urine drug screen.
