Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across a 22-bed ED serving a diverse patient population including traumas, STEMIs, stroke, cardiac, GI, psychiatric, and pediatric cases
• Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical patients, and 6:1 for fast track
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR
• Complete 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period as part of the expected schedule
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced emergency environment with no call or float requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• ACLS certification required prior to submission
• BLS certification required prior to submission
• TNCC certification required prior to submission
• PALS certification required prior to submission
• Minimum 2+ years of emergency room nursing experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma nursing experience
• Pediatric emergency nursing experience
• Hard-working, resilient, team-oriented, and adaptable personality
