This recruitment will be used to fill the current vacancy and establish an eligibility list for future openings, allowing the County to fill additional vacancies without conducting a new recruitment.What's this Job All About? This position is at the heart of the Environmental Health Division, providing front-counter and office support while helping residents, businesses, contractors, and other members of the public navigate the permitting process. As a Permit Technician, you'll review and process permit applications, answer questions, collect fees, coordinate inspections, maintain accurate records, and help keep applications moving smoothly from start to finish.The role offers a variety of responsibilities and the opportunity to build knowledge and experience across environmental health, building, and planning.
