Job Description
The QC Inspector performs quality inspection of mechanical and electrical assemblies in a clean, lean manufacturing environment. This role focuses on verifying components, monitoring automated equipment, and visually inspecting assembled printed circuit boards (PCBs) to ensure they meet established quality standards. The QC Inspector supports production by following detailed documentation, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a safe and efficient operation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Job Description
The QC Inspector performs quality inspection of mechanical and electrical assemblies in a clean, lean manufacturing environment. This role focuses on verifying components, monitoring automated equipment, and visually inspecting assembled printed circuit boards (PCBs) to ensure they meet established quality standards. The QC Inspector supports production by following detailed documentation, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a safe and efficient operation.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspection of mechanical and electrical assemblies to ensure they meet established specifications and standards.
- Verify components against production documentation and confirm that correct parts and materials are used.
- Position printed circuit boards (PCBs) on machine fixtures accurately and monitor machine operation throughout the process.
- Make minor machine adjustments as needed to maintain proper operation and product quality.
- Clear machine jams safely and promptly to minimize production interruptions.
- Conduct detailed visual inspections of assembled boards to identify defects, quality issues, or nonconformances.
- Complete production records, batch logs, and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while operating equipment and performing inspections.
- Use hand tools and basic production equipment as required for inspection and assembly support.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with lean manufacturing principles.
- Adapt to different tasks and assignments as production needs change.
- Experience or strong interest in quality inspection, manufacturing, or production environments.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how mechanical and electrical assemblies function.
- Ability to stand for the majority of the shift while performing inspection and production tasks.
- Comfort using hand tools in an electronic assembly or production setting.
- Strong vision and hand-eye coordination to perform detailed visual inspections.
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions and production documentation accurately.
- Basic computer skills for completing records and working with production systems.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production operations.
- No prior experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks and equipment.
- Interest in electronics, electronic assembly, or manufacturing processes.
- Comfort working in a structured, lean manufacturing environment.
