Job Details Job Location: Greenville, SC - Greenville, SC Salary Range: $54,000.00 - $78,000.00 Title: Sales Engineer Established for over 50 years, Yamazen Inc. is a leading importer and distributor of quality CNC manufacturing machinery, including machine tools and injection molding machines. We service manufacturers in the automotive, aerospace, construction equipment, medical, and I.T. industries. Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer who is a hunter with proven presentation skills and effective sales methods. The role focuses on developing new business within an assigned territory and retaining and expanding business with existing customers, building excellent client relationships and driving sales results. Autonomy, drive and desire to win are paramount; you will take ownership of the entire sales cycle. Key Responsibilities Prospect, develop and close new business with new and existing customers. Meet or exceed annual sales targets within the assigned territory and accounts. Regularly travel to perform customer consultations to determine needs and solutions, and obtain detailed information for estimates and proposals. Maintain involvement on turnkey projects, demonstrations and other related customer projects to meet deadlines and budgets. Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and product lines presented by the company. Utilize Salesforce.com (CRM) for all prospecting and customer activities. Qualifications BS/BA degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent work experience. Previous outside sales experience with manufactured equipment is preferred. Strong professional communication and presentation skills. Innovative approach to problem‑solving and the ability to thrive in a results‑based environment. Effective closer. Mechanical/technical aptitude preferred. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM software. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable automobile transportation and current auto insurance. Compensation and Benefits The estimated base pay for this position is typically between $54,000 and $78,000, with actual pay influenced by education, training, skills, competencies, years of experience, job‑related knowledge, and the scope of the role. In addition to base pay, Yamazen Inc. provides a competitive compensation package including salary with commissions and business.
